I am truly honored to be featured here. My internship with ASLM’s Communications team was nothing short of eye-opening. Coming from a background rooted in laboratory science, I’ve always understood the technical importance of lab systems in disease surveillance and diagnostics. But what I hadn’t fully appreciated until this experience was the power of communication in amplifying that work and driving sustainable public health change across the continent.
