This LabCoP M&E SubCoP ECHO session focused on data for improved programming through innovative dashboards in Tanzania. Evidence-based implementation strategies are actions, practices, or procedures that have been shown to improve health outcomes. One key principle of evidence based decision making requires that regular meetings are held to provide a forum for stakeholders to review available data on service delivery and key programming outputs. The use of integrated dashboards is a central piece tin evidence-based programming and provides a visual representation of data from multiple sources for easy comprehension. In this session, the Tanzania Ministry of Health provides insights into how they regularly use dashboards to interpret data by comparing performance targets with achievements; exploring root causes for the issues identified; formulating actions to address the root causes.
