The February 2023 LabCoP ECHO session is part 2 of The Revised ISO15189:2022 Standard series. It takes a deep dive into changes needed at country and facilities levels to align to and meet the requirements of the revised standard. The focus is on how to systematically handle the transition for both accredited and non-accredited laboratories. The presenters further highlight the new language usage and tools and approaches to guide a smooth transition to the new standard within the provided transition period, including sample gap analysis and a clear transition plan. The session was presented by Mr Teferi Mekonen, QMS/SLIPTA Programme Manager, ASLM and Prof Kilian Songwe, President and Regional Director, AG Quality Consultants, Uganda.
