OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT | SCOPE OF WORK | EXPECTED DELIVERABLES

Background:

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) threatens global health by rendering infections untreatable, increasing mortality, and straining healthcare systems. Stakeholders in the continent lack a unified platform to address critical gaps:

  1. Fragmented data: AMR surveillance, research, and policy data are siloed across regions and sectors.
  2. Disconnected collaboration: Isolated efforts hinder knowledge sharing and coordinated action.
  3. Outdated insights: Delays in integrating real-time data and emerging research slow responses.
  4. Inaccessible tools: Decision-makers lack adaptable resources to translate evidence into context-specific policies or practices.

The AMR Knowledge Hub aims to consolidate fragmented AMR data, research, policies, and stakeholder engagement tools into a centralized, globally interoperable platform. This consultancy will focus on curating and structuring content for some of the initial building blocks namely Research & Innovation, Policy & Governance, and Stakeholder Engagement modules to ensure usability and relevance for diverse audiences.
