The 2nd ECOWAS Lassa Fever International Conference (LIC) will take place from 22–26 September 2025 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Under the theme “Beyond Borders: Strengthening Regional Cooperation to Combat Lassa Fever and Emerging Infectious Diseases,” this event aims to advance sustainable preparedness and regional coordination for Lassa fever through enhanced research and development (R&D) capacity, improved outbreak management systems, and multisectoral collaboration.
