The current global shift in funding priorities away from key facets of health programs and global initiatives continue to impact the reach and context of services delivery within regional and country programs.
With no end in sight countries and programs are developing strategies not only to sustain the gains but deliver the most critical services in a more sustainable manner.
In this session, presented by Deonilde Sarmento, the Focal point for Laboratory Diagnosics, National Program for the Control of STIs/HIV and AIDS an Dr Felix Pinto, a Clinical Pathologist and Head of the Department, Diagnostic Support Services Ministry of Health, Mozambique we share Mozambique’s progress in developing and implementing strategies in the context of reduced funding to build a resilient laboratory system.
