Next generation TB diagnostics that can be placed close to where people with TB seek care, in the community and at primary health care facilities, are on the horizon. In this Extended Echo Session, Dr Grania Brigden and Professor Dissou Affolabi discussed strategies to help programs prepare for successful implementation of these tools. Mapping diagnostic networks to define the most impactful use cases will be crucial. Additionally, multi-sectoral collaboration and community involvement will be essential to ensure uptake and successful integration with existing tools and processes.
