This AMR CoP ECHO session explores surgical site infections and related antibiotic resistance profiles occurring after Bellwether procedures in rural Liberia. In this session, we explore the Liberian experience on antibiotic resistance profiles from surgical site infections that occur after surgery, the main causes of healthcare-related infections in low- and middle-income countries, and their impact on patient clinical outcomes.
