Increased access to timely and quality laboratory medicine data is key in building resilient and responsive laboratory systems. ASLM ensures dissemination of and access to scientific knowledge through the African Journal of Laboratory Medicine(AJLM), a well-respected, highly indexed, and sought-after peer-reviewed journal. Additionally, ASLM staff members co-author peer reviewed manuscripts and deliver presentations at scientific meetings informing and advancing polies in laboratory medicine.
ASLM also hosts Biennial Scientific conferences and Special Conventions, forums that promotes knowledge dissemination, and professional development as well as creating networking opportunities among laboratory professional. The conference and Convention brings together African and global participants including laboratorians, researchers, and policy makers that engage in discussions that shape the laboratory medicine landscape in Africa and the world.
