ASLM Whistleblowing Framework

ASLM is committed to strict compliance with laws and regulations and to enforce the rules set out in the Organisation’s Code of Conduct. Further, ASLM has a zero-tolerance stance on corruption, bribery, and fraud, and complies with all applicable anti-bribery laws and regulations.

The whistleblowing channels allow you to report information about an actual or suspected wrongdoing or any breach of the Code of Conduct.

Whistleblowing reports are handled by an independent contractor (Deloitte Tip-Offs) in a confidential manner and in accordance with the regulations in force.

Whistleblowers are granted protection against the risk of retaliation.

Any abuse of the whistleblowing system may expose the reporting person to disciplinary sanctions or prosecution. However, the use of this system in good faith will not expose the reporting person to any disciplinary sanction, even if the facts are subsequently proven to be inaccurate or do not give rise to any follow-up.

When to Report?

When you have reason to believe that a violation of the law or of the ASLM Code of Conduct has been committed or in the event of a threat or harm to the public interest.

If an employee or other complainant wishes to report internally, they may do so, either anonymously or by identifying themselves to ethics@aslm.org
An employee or other complainant can also make a complaint to their supervisor, or any member of ASLM Senior Leadership Team.

Can I remain anonymous?

Yes, the independent contractor gives the caller the option to remain anonymous. However, we recommend you to provide contact information to allow the Contractor to contact you if there is a need to request any additional information or for feedback.

Will confidentiality be assured?

Yes, the independent contractor ensures confidentially of the whistleblowing reports and they take appropriate steps to do so.
