The website has the following features and functions designed to support networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing among the community as a whole:

Accreditation
The website provides support for the various accreditation activities of the partner organizations. There  are pre-configured templates that can be readily customized to meet the specific needs of a particular accreditation activity or standard.  Please visit our Standards and Accreditation page for more information.

Training & Certification
The website supports training and certification by enabling appropriately authorized user to create catalogues of training materials; training events calendars; libraries of training materials; training forums and training blogs. Resource Libraries
The website supports the upload, indexing and tagging, searching and browsing of libraries of content where the content may be in text, image, audio or video formats. It is possible to configure the access to resource libraries to reflect the multi-tiered nature of the website. ASLM Resource Libraries are currently in development.

Directories
The website supports the creation of directories of information such as ASLM members; accredited laboratories; PT program providers; equipment suppliers; accreditation providers and ASLM accredited consultants. This feature is currently under development.

Workspaces
The website supports the creation of collaborative workspaces, within the framework of website Partner sub-sites. Access to a workspace will be restricted to a particular user, user group, laboratory or organization. The Workspaces section is currently under development.

AJLM, Community, News, News Feeds & Articles
The website provides social network and community features such as events listings and calendars, job postings, applications management and forums. It will provide access to searchable banks of news articles, news feeds, journal articles and white-papers of interest to the ASLM community.

In support of journal publishing activities, it will be possible for a website Partner to design and deploy a journal article workflow which would support the submission of articles by website users for editorial review. It is also be possible to enable reviewer and editorial comments to be posted back to the article contributors.

The website will provide an ecommerce facility that will allow users to purchase training materials, pay subscriptions, pay for events, and more. Our online store is under development.
