The African Society for Laboratory Medicine is a membership association for laboratory scientists committed to providing affordable access to quality laboratory services for all African nations. Through our quarterly newsletter, Lab Culture, we strive for the following:
- Advocacy for public health laboratory strengthening
- Networking, information exchange, providing information on best practices in laboratory management and practice
- Championing of laboratory services that make a difference in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases to improve the health of communities in Africa
- Promotion of accreditation for laboratories providing public health testing services.
