The African Journal for Laboratory Medicine (AJLM)  AJLM, the official journal of ASLM, provides peer-reviewed, open-access articles focusing on the role of the laboratory and laboratory professionals in clinical care and public health in Africa. AJLM (available at www.ajlmonline.org ), launched in 2011, encourages scholarly exchange among biomedical scientists and clinicians, public health officials, the medical community, and policy makers across Africa. AJLM is published on a rolling basis.

Lab Culture ASLM publishes a quarterly newsletter called Lab Culture, which is centered on Society news and updates on laboratory medicine in Africa. Sections covered include Member News, Industry Focus, Feature articles, Research, Training and Education, Standards and Accreditation, Clinical Medicine, and more. ASLM provides technical assistance for grant-writing and manuscript-writing. ASLM hosted its first manuscript-writing workshop from April 18-29, 2011, in Naivasha, Kenya. Since, ASLM has hosted several grant and scientific writing workshops in both French and English.
